Map about You

What would a map of your life look like? What people and places would you represent? What type of landscape features would your island or country contain? Fifth and sixth grade artists began planning for their autobiographical maps by creating lists of their favorite people, things, foods, places, sports, etc.  They also created lists of different land forms, such as rivers, mountains, deserts, lakes, etc.  They figured out which of these would go together and how they would fit in their land.
