Student Art Show at Helen Day Art Center

Waitsfield Artists were celebrated at the opening of the Helen Day Art Center Student Art Show last night in Stowe.  The show is up until May 27, so there is still plenty of time to go check it out! 

There are many amazing projects from students from other schools as well.  It is wonderful to see student artwork on display in such a professional way!  Thank you to the families who came to the opening reception.  

Welcome Back!

It is so good to be back at school!  Despite our delayed start due to Hurricane Irene, our school is finally filled with smiling children and eager teachers.  Personally, I feel like I have an awful lot to be thankful for as this school year begins.  I am excited to be returning to school after spending five wonderful months with my son Willis.  Thank you to everyone who has made my first day away easier by asking about him.  He is a wonderful, healthy, happy baby!

Willis Sumner McDonough arrives!!

 

Willis Sumner McDonough arrived on March 19, 2011 at 4:33 am.  He weighed 5 lbs. 1 oz. and was 18 ".  Dana Davis will be teaching art while I am out on leave.
