Examples of Andy Goldworthy's work:
Here are three videos that we watched to prepare ourselves for creating Andy Goldsworthy-inspired works of art.
The first is an excerpt from a longer documentary about Goldsworthy called "Rivers and Tides." This video shows how Goldsworthy acknowledges that as his work becomes a part of nature, it will be acted upon by natural forces, eventually lead to its disappearance.
This video is called "Autumn Works." It was filmed at Storm King, a park and outdoor art center in New York.
This video shows examples of Goldworthy's work and how a group of Sixth graders from another school responded by creating their own pieces.

First and Second Grade Artists looked at Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting of sunflowers in a vase. We also looked at real sunflowers from our school garden. Here are the artists' finished paintings, made with acrylic paint on canvas paper.
