Art room expectations

Fifth and sixth graders chose key word or phrases from our classroom expectations to make into posters.  We used crayons, liquid watercolors and sharpies. I am excited to have these beautiful reminders decorate our art room!

Our classroom expectations fall into four categories:

Respect yourself and others
Respect materials and surroundings
Be safe
Do your best!

Welcome Katherine Paterson

Vermont author Katherine Paterson came to visit our school last week.  She is well known for her book Bridge to Terabithia and many others.  Click here to see her website.   Students were very excited to meet her and talk to her about her books.  They made two beautiful banners to welcome her to our school.

THANK YOU Ski and Skate Sale!

Last weekend was our school's biggest fundraiser, the Ski and Skate Sale.  The funds raised from this sale are what make it possible for our students to have such an amazing elementary school experience.  Almost all families and staff are involved in pulling off this event.  Thank you to everyone for all of your hard work!  Our artists made these beautiful signs to show our appreciation.
