Andy Goldsworthy Videos and Images
Examples of Andy Goldworthy's work:
Here are three videos that we watched to prepare ourselves for creating Andy Goldsworthy-inspired works of art.
The first is an excerpt from a longer documentary about Goldsworthy called "Rivers and Tides." This video shows how Goldsworthy acknowledges that as his work becomes a part of nature, it will be acted upon by natural forces, eventually lead to its disappearance.
This video is called "Autumn Works." It was filmed at Storm King, a park and outdoor art center in New York.
This video shows examples of Goldworthy's work and how a group of Sixth graders from another school responded by creating their own pieces.

Van Gogh's Sunflowers... Finished Paintings!
First and Second Grade Artists looked at Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting of sunflowers in a vase. We also looked at real sunflowers from our school garden. Here are the artists' finished paintings, made with acrylic paint on canvas paper.
