Cheap Art Manifesto from Bread and Puppet Theater
Our Bread and Puppet artists-in-residence gave me this Cheap Art Manifesto poster on their last day at Waitsfield Elementary. I love it!
Different from authentic art work, oil painting reproduction is cheap and tangible. It seems like the fairy that walks into the earth from intangible altar. Either taking as décor or collection, such art style is accepted easily by the populace. Love of art has no class; whatever the rich and the poor have the same right to appreciate artworks.
Awesome!!!
