Spiderwebs!
Kindergarten artists made spiderwebs out of glue on black construction paper. After the glue dried, we colored them in with chalk pastels.
Here are the glue webs before they dried.
After they dried, we colored them with chalk pastels. We used our fingers as paint brushes to move the color around the paper.
Did you use anything on top of the chalk to fix it to the page? I did a glue line and chalk project for the first time with my k-1 students and sent them home wrapped in newsprint to not get all the other artwork messy. I was thinking if I did it again I would possibly buy cheap aerosol hairspray to fix it.
